March 27–28, S.R. 1419 (T.A. 3019)

The Tale of Years gives late March dates for two victories in the north that followed fast upon the destruction of the Ring.

March 27. Bard II and Thorin III Stonehelm drive the enemy from Dale.   28  Celeborn crosses Anduin; destruction of Dol Guldur begun.

From a prose summary of these victories that precedes the dates themselves in the Tale of Years, we can produce plausible summaries.
